Welcome to the home of the Loose Screw dual sport ride in Kamloops, BC

Follow the 'About The Ride' link above for more information on the ride. We're looking forward to seeing you in August 2010 for the fourth annual run.

It sounded like everyone had a good time at the 2009 Loose Screw ride. Thanks to everyone who attended and everyone who helped out. We had a great couple of days riding, swimming in the river, eating great meals, and catching up with everyone in the West Coast dual sport community. We received wonderful support from all of you as well as our sponsors. Please visit the SPONSORS page and help support the ride by supporting these sponsors.

Keep an eye on this page for more details on the 2010 ride. Discussions on the ride are ongoing on the DSBC site at dualsportbc.com

2010 Details

Some important points:

  • You will need a spark arrestor on your muffler. Check now, you still have time to get one.
  • You will need a roll chart holder - get one now, you still have time. (www.mtrsports.com or www.gnarlyparts.ca should have them. Give them a call.)
  • It will be hot, bring lots of water. I recommend some Gatorade in your Camelback. (Yes, a Camelback is a really good idea)
  • Bikes must be licensed.
  • Bikes must be quiet - 96dB maximum.
  • You may have to go at least 150km before you see a gas station.
  • There will be a prize draw for some awesome prizes, bring a few extra $$ and buy a ticket.
  • There are few services on the site. There are toilets and a river. Bring what you need.
